Alex is an attorney in Taft's Litigation practice group. He represents clients in all phases of litigation, from trial through the appellate process.
Through multiple federal clerkships, Alex brings substantial experience to his practice. Before joining Taft, he clerked for the Honorable Justin R. Walker on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the Honorable Michael S. Kanne on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Honorable Susie Morgan on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Alex earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington. While there, he served as the executive editor of the Indiana Law Journal, won and received the best brief award in the Sherman Minton Moot Court competition, and received the highest grade in twelve classes. He also worked as a law clerk for the Indiana Solicitor General and externed for the Honorable Geoffrey G. Slaughter on the Indiana Supreme Court. Alex received his Bachelor of Music in classical saxophone performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
