Adam D. Zacher
Adam is an experienced commercial litigator, adept at handling complex business, supply chain, asbestos, environmental, bankruptcy, and real estate litigation. He assists clients in resolving disputes related to supplier and buyer agreements; contractual disputes; emergency litigation, including restraining orders and injunctions; health care and personal injury matters; debt disputes; regulatory violations; land ownership issues; bankruptcy stays; and defending clients in asbestos exposure cases.
Prior to joining Taft, Adam practiced with an Am Law 200 law firm in Indianapolis.
Adam received his law degree, graduating cum laude, from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with a degree in finance, operations, and supply chain management, and a minor in mathematics. During law school, Adam served as a law clerk for Symmetry Medical Inc. and worked directly for the general counsel on contracts, intellectual property, and related business matters. Prior to attending law school, Adam worked as a financial analyst for Zimmer Holdings and as an information technology coordinator for a national dance competition.
Adam is active in the Indianapolis community. He is a member of DRI, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association, where he serves on the Committee to Prevent the Unlicensed Practice of Law. He is an avid golfer, tennis player, active USTA team captain, and a board member for the National Junior Tennis League of Indianapolis. Adam has been recognized by his peers for his accomplishments, and in 2021 was named an Indiana Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
