Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Richard E. Stanley, Jr. has been elected to the firm’s partnership. Stanley joined the firm in April 2016 as of counsel.
Stanley is a member of Taft’s Intellectual Property and Litigation groups and focuses on patent prosecution and litigation in the mechanical and electrical arts. His patent litigation practice has involved representing plaintiffs and defendants in all stages of litigation: pre-suit investigations, formal discovery, motion practice and settlement.
Prior to private practice, Stanley was an engineer for seven years with a large agricultural equipment manufacturer. He earned his J.D. from Baylor University, his M.B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
