Taft attorney Daniel R. Saeedi will be a panelist for the Feb. 18 Illinois State Bar Association webcast "Race & Sports: Racially Charged Sports Controversies and Legal Concerns." This past year, the sports industry faced several controversial issues that impacted members of diverse communities – from the disparaging remarks made by the L.A. Clippers owner to the locker room harassment experienced by several members of the Miami Dolphins. Referencing these recent events and more, Saeedi will discuss harassment in the workplace and trademarks/First Amendment issues.
