Saeedi Coaches University of Illinois Chicago Law Students to Win Moot Court Competition
Taft Chicago partner Daniel Saeedi coached University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) School of Law students to win team and individual awards at the Loyola University Law School Chicago’s Vis Pre-Moot Competition.
UIC fielded two teams and was among seven top law schools in the Midwest to compete. The UIC teams took First Place Best Team, Third Place Best Team, Best Oralist Award, and Runner Up Best Oralist Award. Students will compete in international competition in Vienna, Austria, in late March.
Saeedi focuses his practice on issues relating to employment law, privacy, and information security. He represents clients nationwide in the realm of trade secret theft, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and breaches of fiduciary duties. Saeedi also provides counseling to businesses on how to employ best practices and policies to better position themselves to litigate unfair competition claims.
