Taft attorney Terrence J.L. Reeves guest lectured at the University of Notre Dame School of Business on Nov. 16. Reeves spoke with MBA students regarding evaluating startups, term sheet economics, geographic differences in terms and competencies, and board best practices for venture-backed companies.
Reeves is an attorney in Taft's venture capital and business and finance practices. He focuses on assisting startups, emerging companies and venture capital funds through all stages of financings and exit transactions. Reeves advises high-growth clients across various sectors, including cyber security, digital health, consumer products and mobility, in TX, NY, PA, MD, D.C., IL, MI and CA.
Reeves received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where he focused his studies on corporate law. A multi-tooled attorney, he earned an M.B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and furthered his professional studies in venture capital, finance and innovation at Wharton.
