Taft attorney Tammara Porter has been selected as a 2020 Leadership in Law honoree, recognized as an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Indiana Lawyer. The Indiana Lawyer annually honors Indiana attorneys who make meaningful contributions not only to the legal profession but to their communities and beyond. Porter was featured in a special Leadership in Law issue on April 29.
Porter is an associate in Taft’s Litigation group and has general litigation experience handling everything from multijurisdictional litigation involving products liability, class action environmental toxic tort, commercial/business matters and eminent domain matters. Porter received her Bachelor of Journalism in broadcast news and strategic communications and her M.A. in strategic communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was a television newscast producer before she earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Porter serves on the board of directors for Indiana Repertory Theatre and Indianapolis Bar Foundation and is also a member of the grants committee for the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. She is a graduate of the Class XVI Bar Leader Series and the 2015 OPTIONS class through the Women’s Fund.
