Taft attorney Tammara Porter has been elected to the board of directors for the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF). The IBF is the charitable arm of the Indianapolis Bar Association whose mission is to advance justice and lead positive change in Indianapolis through philanthropy, education and service.
Porter is an associate in Taft’s Litigation group. She received her Bachelor of Journalism in broadcast news and strategic communications and her M.A. in strategic communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Porter was a television newscast producer before she earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. She also serves on the board of directors for Indiana Repertory Theatre and is a graduate of the Class XVI Bar Leader Series and the 2015 OPTIONS class through the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.
