Newsome Appointed to Board of ADL Cleveland
Allison Smith Newsome has been appointed as a regional board member to ADL (Anti-Defamation League) Cleveland. The board consists of 60 members in its region, which includes Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.
ADL is a leading anti-hate organization founded in 1913. The organization maintains a strong and committed presence in the region and is widely viewed as an area leader in civil rights advocacy.
Newsome focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, physician groups, and other health care organizations regarding the regulatory, transactional, and business aspects of health care law. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Board of Directors and is also an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, teaching Advanced Transactional Legal Writing.
