Morris Elected to Board of Directors for Schools on Wheels

Taft attorney Jeremy Morris was elected to the board of directors for Schools on Wheels Indianapolis. Schools on Wheels’ mission is to transform the lives of students impacted by homelessness and housing instability with personalized tutoring and academic support while advocating for their families as they navigate the educational system. They envision a future where youth homelessness is eliminated, educational equity is a reality, and every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Morris is truly honored to work alongside this amazing board, extraordinary staff, and Founder and visionary, Sally Bindley.

Morris is an experienced trial attorney and has conducted over 15 complex felony jury trials in both state and federal court. Prior to joining Taft, Morris was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Indiana, where he led the prosecution of federal drug trafficking and firearms offenses, conspiracy, and violations of the Hobbs Act. He also participated in public corruption investigations involving money laundering, wire fraud, and bribery.
