Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Jonathan D. McPike has joined the firm’s Indianapolis office in the Business & Finance group.
Prior to joining Taft, McPike practiced in the national private equity group of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP in Chicago, where he focused on representing private equity fund sponsors and managers in the formation and operation of private equity funds and in the acquisition and disposition of their respective portfolio companies. He also has substantial experience representing investors in connection with prospective private equity fund investments and in connection with the federal and state securities laws implications of private equity investments.

Before entering private practice, McPike served as a law clerk for then-Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard on the Indiana Supreme Court. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from American University in 2008 with a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in political science. He graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington in 2011.
