McNeil Danish Recognized by International Municipal Lawyers Association During Black History Month

Columbus partner and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Strategic Business Partner Rita McNeil Danish was featured by the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) in recognizing Black lawyers and legal professionals who serve as powerful examples of leadership in their legal communities. In addition to being a highly accomplished attorney, McNeil Danish is a "community changemaker," with a proven history of "building bridges across party, racial, and gender lines, fostering open cultures, dismantling prejudices, and empowering individuals to uniquely contribute to society."

McNeil Danish is a leader, advisor, advocate, and catalyst for change, and focuses on infusing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into Taft’s culture across its offices and in the local communities. With hands-on experience in the public and private sector, she is a trusted counsel in crisis management, government affairs, economic development, and municipal law. As an active member in the community, she contributes her legal knowledge to various causes and diversity and inclusion organizations. She brings her passion to empower economic growth in local communities through diversity and inclusion work with small, women- and minority-owned businesses.
