McGrady to Speak at The McCarthy Institute's IP-Con 2022
Taft Chicago partner Paul McGrady will speak on Panel 1, "Domain Names, ICANN and Trademarks," at The McCarthy Institute’s inaugural IP-Con on March 17. The three-day conference brings together academics, practicing attorneys, and students from across the globe to engage with one another as they consider current topics in intellectual property law. The event is hosted by the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

McGrady represents large brands and small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States and around the world focusing on domain name matters. He also counsels clients on the intellectual property aspects of social and mobile media as well as traditional trademarks matters. McGrady is the author of McGrady on Domain Names, McGrady on Social Media, and McGrady on Social Media Aspects of Employment Law, all published by LexisNexis. He was named to the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council representing the Non-Contracted Parties House for the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
