McBride to Speak at Northern Kentucky Treatment Court Inaugural Graduation Ceremony

Taft partner Robert McBride will speak at the Northern Kentucky Veterans Treatment Court (NKY VTC) inaugural graduation ceremony on June 27. The Honorable John D. Minton, Chief Justice of Kentucky, will deliver the keynote address at the Campbell County Courthouse, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This is the court’s first ceremony since its founding in 2014, when Judge Karen A. Thomas, Campbell District Court, arranged an agreement with the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts to start a Veterans program. The ceremony celebrates the graduates completion of an intensive program of comprehensive substance abuse disorder and/or mental health treatment, close supervision, and accountability. McBride is the coordinator for the Peer Mentor Program, which allows veterans to serve as confidential mentors to those in NKY VTC.

McBride, a former United States Navy Judge Advocate and federal prosecutor, is a seasoned trial attorney experienced in investigating and litigating a wide variety of complex white collar criminal matters.
