Taft Dayton attorney Nadia Klarr recently authored the article, "What are You Doing (or NOT Doing) to Protect Your Employees?" for the Dayton Region Manufacturers Association. The article discusses the General Duty Clause and factors that may increase an employees risk of becoming a victim of workplace violence as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Klarr contends that according to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), most employers aren't doing enough and she discusses what can be done to protect employees and businesses.
