Taft Discovery Counsel Alicia Hawley has achieved the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential after completing coursework and passing a four-hour examination. Administered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists, the exam tests e-discovery competence and knowledge. Professionals across 20 countries have earned the CEDS designation.
Hawley serves as chair of the eDiscovery and Litigation Services group at Taft. As both a former corporate criminal investigations litigator and in-house counsel, she has a unique perspective on case development through the eDiscovery process. Her expertise includes both routine and complex eDiscovery issues, best practices, case development, fact investigations, and narrative development.
