Columbus partner Stephen C. Fitch played a key role in planning the successful May 16 Columbus Bar Association half-day CLE program “Ensuring Judicial Excellence,” which was developed to educate attorneys about promoting qualified judicial candidates and to better understand the path to the bench in order to ensure the continuation of judicial excellence in Franklin County.
Seven sitting judges attended the event, which featured a post-event reception with a keynote address by Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor. Event sponsors included the Women Lawyers of Franklin County and the Chester Professionalism Institute. The program awarded 3.0 CLE hours and was held at the Columbus Bar Association’s office at 175 S. Third Street in Columbus, Ohio.
