Taft partner Anthony P. Filomena will speak at the North Carolina Specialty Foods Association 2015 Fall Conference on Sept. 11. His presentation is titled “Trademarks 101.”

Filomena is a member of Taft's Intellectual Property practice group and counsels clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including preparation and prosecution of patents; registration of trademarks and copyrights; and drafting, reviewing and negotiating proprietary and open source licensing agreements. His experience also includes preparing opinions, including patentability, non-infringement, invalidity and trademark opinions.
