Despas Elected Treasurer to Women Lawyers of Franklin County

Taft attorney Kimberly Despas has been elected to serve as Treasurer for the Women Lawyers of Franklin County. She has previously been a member of the board since 2016. A bar association for women attorneys in central Ohio, WLFC was established in 1942 and has grown from a few members to over 200 today. Throughout this time, WLFC has continued to address the professional needs and concerns of women lawyers in the Greater Columbus area.

Despas is an associate in Taft’s Litigation practice group in Cincinnati. She advises clients through all phases of litigation and focuses her practice on business and intentional torts, negligence, construction law, education law, personal injury, premises liability, and constitutional law claims. Despas also has experience in insurance coverage litigation, serving both insurers and the insured.

Despas earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her B.A. in psychology and sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
