Davis Selected as Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Quarter Recipient

Taft Dayton partner Erin Davis has been selected as a Volunteer of the Quarter recipient by the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce (DACC). The DACC Volunteer Activation Committee awards volunteers who demonstrate outstanding service and dedication to the Chamber. Following an unexpected vacancy in February 2022, Davis was asked to step up and chair the Leadership Dayton Alumni Committee. During the past year, the Alumni Committee has continued to expand alumni programming, enhance existing programing, hit a record for paid membership, and undertaken planning efforts to mark the 50th Leadership Dayton Class. For Davis, it is truly an honor to work with the Alumni Committee and the Chamber to make sure the Leadership Dayton year of learning extends to a lifetime of commitment, service, and connectedness in Dayton.

At Taft, Davis counsels clients on all aspects of government contracts. She advises on compliance with the FAR, DFARS, and the Uniform Guidance regulations for federal contracts and grants. She assists clients in preparing and defending bid protests, REAs, claims, and other government contracts litigation, and works extensively with small businesses related to SBA set-aside programs.
