Davis Becomes Chair of Dayton Live's Board of Trustees
On Aug. 21, Taft Dayton partner Erin Davis transitioned to Chair of Dayton Live’s Board of Trustees after serving as Vice Chair for two years. As Chair, she will serve a two-year term, building on her more than four years of serving on the organization’s Executive Committee.
Davis has served in various leadership roles of Dayton Live’s Executive Committee, including member and Vice Chair of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Access (EDIA) committee; Vice Chair of the Board; Chair of the Governance Committee; and Chair of the Search Committee. Davis was Chair of the Search Committee during the search and hire of Dayton Live’s CEO and President, Gabriel van Aalst. During the CEO vacancy, Davis helped manage the Dayton Live organization, and recently wrapped the organization’s most successful performance season.

Davis counsels clients on all aspects of government contracts law cradle to grave. She assists clients in both transactional and litigation matters, provides special focus on working with small businesses and their partners for SBA set-asides, and advises contractors and subcontractors on understanding and protecting their technical data rights and IP in the government sector.
