The Mid-American Regional Center (TMARC) is an independently operated and managed affiliate of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Unlike many other regional centers whose managers are inexperienced in regulatory environments, TMARC’s management has the experience, knowledge and relationships to successfully navigate the complexities involved in every EB-5 (Employment-Based Visa #5) transaction and related matters.
The United States Congress created the EB-5 program in the early 1990s to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. This program allows foreign investors to obtain permanent residency status for themselves and their immediate family members by investing either $1 million or $500,000 in a "new commercial enterprise" that creates at least 10 new, full-time jobs for U.S. workers. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) oversees and regulates the program.
