Accounts Payable Specialist

Taft is currently seeking an AP Specialist in Cleveland.

We are seeking am AP Specialist to work with our Accounting team in the Cleveland office. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients. 


  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries. 
  • Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
  • Assists in month-end closings.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
  • Reconciles credit card accounts as necessary.
  • Initiates domestic and international wires.
  • New vendor set-up.
  • Some backup responsibilities for billing and cash receipts.

  • An Associate’s degree in accounting, or equivalent business finance or accounting experience is required.
