The following websites provide information on American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) programs and opportunities at each level of government, from federal to local.

Federal government:

  • Recovery.gov (www.recovery.gov) is the federal government’s website designed to track spending under the Recovery Act, to serve as a gateway to information relating to the Act, and to provide connections to other government websites with related information.
  • FedBizOpps.gov (www.fbo.gov) is the federal government’s one-stop virtual marketplace for commercial vendors seeking government buyers, and provides searchable information on open government contracting opportunities over $25,000.
  • Grants.gov (www.grants.gov) is the federal government’s central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs.  The Recovery Act has increased opportunities for federal grants, and Grants.gov features a dedicated search page for finding Recovery Act opportunities located at www.grants.gov/applicants/recovery.jsp.
  • Govloans.gov (www.govloans.gov) is the federal government’s gateway to federal loan information, providing information on the loan programs of several government agencies, including the Department of Commerce and the Small Business Administration.
  • The Small Business Administration (SBA) has created several web pages dedicated to its Recovery Act implementation, with more information on its loan and other programs, found here.  Changes authorized by the Recovery Act to the SBA 504 loan program will allow small businesses to use 504 loan proceeds to refinance a limited amount of debt financing in connection with business expansion.  For more information see the SBA’s June 24, 2009 News Release on this topic, located here.

State and local governments:

Indiana

  • Invest.in.gov (http://www.in.gov/gov/INvest.htm) is Indiana’s dedicated Recovery Act opportunities website.  It provides a comprehensive list of competitive grant funding opportunities in Indiana here.
  • The Association of Indiana Counties provides an “ARRA Toolbox” webpage dedicated to providing local Recovery Act information here.

Kentucky

  • Kentucky’s dedicated recovery opportunities website is located here.
  • The City of Louisville has a dedicated Recovery Act website located here.

Ohio

  • Recovery.ohio.gov (www.recovery.ohio.gov) is the portal for Ohio's efforts with respect to the Recovery Act.  It features listings of state and local Recovery Act opportunities at www.recovery.ohio.gov/opportunities/state/.  An organization interested in any state opportunities listed on the website may file a proposal through the website at http://apps.das.ohio.gov/dasoitrecovery/Default.aspx.  Recovery.ohio.gov also has a page dedicated to providing information on local government and organization programs, including Ohio's fifty-two community action agencies, local workforce investment boards, and Ohio’s Workforce areas, at www.recovery.ohio.gov/opportunities/local.
  • The Ohio Auditor of State’s website provides information on Recovery Act spending in each of Ohio’s counties through its Ohio Stimulus Tracker located here.
