In appreciation of his dedication to the education of Ohio business and industry on complex state and local tax issues, and for serving as an outstanding keynote speaker at the annual Ohio Tax Conference since 1994, Taft partner Stephen M. Nechemias was presented with the first-ever Distinguished Speaker Award on January 29, 2013, at the 22nd Annual Ohio Tax Conference in Columbus.

Nechemias was honored for his informative materials, his entertaining presentation style, and his long-standing assistance in the planning and design of the nation’s largest business tax conference (hosted by the Manufacturers’ Education Council), which has benefited more than 11,000 corporate executives over the years.
