The Akron Beacon Journal spoke with Taft attorney Donald Mottley for a recent article on the enormous backlog of active cases before the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals.  "Unappealing response: When government should perform like a good business" quotes Mottley's take on the situation:

...delays and uncertainties already are damaging Ohio's business climate. The bar association has proposed reforms, among them more state money and charging a fee to file.

Mr. Mottley is the chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association Taxation Committee.
