Taft attorney Jim Parsons assisted Manhattan Harbour Developers in successfully obtaining approval from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority of a tax increment finance (TIF) incentive for the Manhattan Harbour Development in Dayton, Kentucky . As a result, the Commonwealth of Kentucky will pledge $198 million in new State incremental revenues to pay for public infrastructure improvements needed at the site million over 30 years. When combined with the local incentives already pledged to the project, the total value of the tax incentives obtained for Manhattan Harobur exceed $450 million over a 30 year period.
