Lindy L. Burris received the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award at the Indiana State Bar Association's annual meeting on Thursday, November 5th. The award is sponsored by the ISBA Young Lawyers Section.
Ms. Burris is an associate in Taft's Indianapolis office and concentrates her practice in civil litigation, toxic tort litigation and environmental law. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she served as editor in chief of the Valparaiso University Law Review. Ms. Burris is very active in the Indianapolis community and currently serves as a volunteer attorney for the Indianapolis Pro Bono Project.
