Taft Attorney Thomas Terp Listed in The International Who's Who of Environmental Lawyers

Cincinnati, OH – Thomas Terp, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Managing Partner of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been listed in The International Who’s Who of Environmental Lawyers for the fifth year in a row.  Terp is one of only 453 experts in 38 jurisdictions around the world selected in 2009.  Published by Who’s Who Legal in London, nominees are selected by the editors based upon comprehensive independent research and survey work with both general counsel and environment attorneys in private practice worldwide. 

Terp has concentrated his practice on environmental matters and commercial litigation for more than 30 years and has been with Taft since 1973. He is a graduate of the William and Mary Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He served on the Board of Editors of Environmental Hazards (Prentice-Hall) and the Environmental Law Journal of Ohio (Banks-Baldwin).

Terp is included in The Best Lawyers in America, the Euromoney Publications (London) listing of The World’s Leading Environmental Lawyers, the Cincinnati Magazine listing of Ohio Super Lawyers and the Chambers USA listing of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.  He also has served on the board of directors of Attorneys Liability Assurance Society (Bermuda) Ltd. ("ALAS") and its subsidiaries since 1995. He currently is Chairman of the Board.
