Additionally, Cincinnati attorneys Doreen Canton and Susan Wheatley were named as two of the Top 50 Women in the state of Ohio and also the Top 25 in Cincinnati. Attorneys listed in the Top 100 in Ohio, and Top 50 in Cincinnati, are: L. Clifford Craig, Daniel J. Hoffheimer, Timothy J. Hurley, Gerald J. Rapien and Robert G. Stachler. G. Jack Donson, Jr. was the only Cincinnati lawyer listed for antitrust litigation.

Cleveland attorneys named are Stephen M. O’Bryan, Mark J. Valponi, Daniel K. Wright, II, Jill F. Helfman, Carl A. Murway and David H. Wallace. Additionally, Jill F. Helfman was named as one of the Top 50 Women in the state of Ohio. Carl A. Murway and David H. Wallace were listed in the Top 100 in Ohio and Top 50 attorneys in Cleveland.

Columbus attorney David L. Johnson was named, as were Dayton attorneys Fred A. Ungerman, Jr. and Hugh E. Wall, III.

To select this year’s group of honorees, Law & Politics asked that Ohio’s legal professionals nominate exceptional attorneys in their own profession. To be chosen, attorneys must have received nominations from outside their firms and have practiced law for a minimum of five years.
