Taft Stettinius & Hollister Announces New Partners

Cincinnati, OH, March 11, 2008 – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce six new partners: Jeanne M. Cors, Lawrence C. Davison, Cynthia C. Felson, Robert H. Fischer Jr., Justin D. Flamm and Lowell T. Woods Jr.

Cors (Cincinnati) is a partner in the firm's Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust, Franchise and White Collar Criminal Defense Practices. She previously spent five years as a legislative assistant on the Washington, D.C. staff of Senator Herb Kohl (D-WI). Cors is a member of the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association Antitrust Section, the American Bar Association Franchise Forum and the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG). Cors received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She received a B.A. in political science, French and German from Marquette University and an M.A. in political science from the University of Michigan. Cors was selected by Cincinnati Magazine as Super Lawyers Rising Star and has been named to CincyBusiness magazine's Leading Lawyers list.

Davison (Cleveland), a partner who joined the firm in 2003, is an experienced practitioner of civil litigation focusing his practice primarily on workers' compensation, wrongful discharge, retaliation, personal injury and intentional tort litigation. He regularly defends both private and public sector employers before the Ohio Industrial Commission and various state courts on workers' compensation matters. Davison also counsels management and human resources personnel on various employment issues. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University. Davison is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Felson (Cincinnati) is a partner in the Workers' Compensation Practice of the Litigation Department. Before joining the firm in 1995, she represented claimants in workers' compensation cases. Felson’s principal practice area now is representation of state fund and self-insured employers in workers' compensation claims at both administrative hearings and court appeals. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. Felson served as Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Workers' Compensation Committee from May 2005 to May 2007. She is chair of the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG).

Fischer (Cleveland) has practiced law since 1999 and concentrates his practice on labor and employment matters. He received his undergraduate degree in political science and economics, graduating summa cum laude, from Ohio University and law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Flamm (Cincinnati) is a partner in the Labor and Employment Department and handles a wide range of labor and employment matters. Flamm was twice selected by Cincinnati Magazine as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. He received his Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. Flamm received his Bachelor of Arts and graduated cum laude from Miami University with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy. He is a past President of the Board of Trustees of The Friends of the William Howard Taft Birthplace.

Woods (Dayton) is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and member of the Construction Law Practice Group. His primary area of practice is construction law, and he represents owners, design professionals, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors and sureties in a wide range of construction-related matters. He also has significant prior experience litigating insurance defense, subrogation, employment, labor and commercial matters. Woods received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and law degree from Indiana University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the March of Dimes Miami Valley Division and the Springboro Optimist Club. Woods is also a member of the Construction Financial Management Association of Dayton.
