Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Jocelyn Coney, Jennifer Snead and Sanna-Rae Taylor have joined the firm’s Cincinnati office as associates in the Business & Finance, Employment Law and Litigation groups, respectively.

Coney focuses her practice on a broad range of securities and start-up business matters. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from California State University: Long Beach, her JD/MBA with a focus in business and human capital from The Ohio State University, and her LL.M. in securities regulation from UCLA School of Law. While in law school, Coney was a consultant for a start-up, and she competed, and made it to the final round of, UCLA’s Lowell Milken Institute-Sandler Prize for New Entrepreneurs (which awarded the winner $100K to start and maintain a business). She also worked at the Columbus city prosecutor’s office and was a legal intern in the NAACP’s Columbus chapter.

Snead focuses her practice on U.S. immigration law. Her experience includes advising clients on a variety of immigration matters in an array of industries, including temporary visas, permanent residence and U.S. citizenship. She has participated in panel presentations for immigration practitioners and has led U.S. immigration presentations at business conferences and universities. Prior to joining Taft, Snead practiced U.S. immigration law in New York and London. Snead received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business.

Taylor has extensive experience in both state and federal courts in all aspects of the litigation process, from pre-litigation through appeals. She has represented corporations and individuals in commercial disputes, such as shareholder actions, corporate dissolution litigation, qui tam, internet defamation, trademark and employment, as well as those involved in the securities sector in matters involving the SEC, PCAOB and FINRA. In addition to her commercial litigation practice, she has engaged in litigation involving medical devices and mass tort pharmaceutical litigation. Taylor received her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Utah State University. Prior to attending law school, Taylor was a human resources manager for Target Corporation and for Jet Blue Airways, where she was responsible for recruiting and employment matters for its Salt Lake City hub.
