Attorneys from Taft Participate in International Council of Shopping Centers Conference

Richard D.Tomsick, Daniel K. Wright II, Stephen M. Griffith Jr., Bruce J. L. Lowe, Thomas P. Vergamini, Diane D. Reynolds, James B. Farmer, John P. Curp and James E. Parsons participated in the International Council of Shopping Centers Midwest Law Conference in Columbus, Ohio on March 15 and 16.
Tomsick was chair of the event, which at 250 attendees was the most well attended in the history of the symposium. He will continue on the planning committee for the 2008 symposium, along with Wright who was a past chair and long-time committee member. Tomsick also led a panel discussion on unique issues in negotiating restaurant leases. Wright moderated a panel of industry experts on mixed use development, which was the keynote session for the conference. Griffith gave a presentation on emerging issues in real property law, detailing some of the recent cases and legislative developments in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.
