Bilott Recognized for Ongoing PFOA Case Against DuPont

Taft partner Robert A. Bilott was a featured speaker at an event and was quoted in additional publications for his continued work regarding chemical pollutants in drinking water. Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff’s altering committee handling litigation against DuPont, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.

Recent Event

On Oct. 20, Bilott spoke at Harvard Law School regarding how common law tort concepts were used to pursue claims of water contamination issues and how those efforts then led to significant scientific, regulatory, economic and legal change on a global scale.
