Craig Interviewed by Cincinnati Business Courier Regarding Ark Encounter Court Win

Taft partner Robert B. Craig was interviewed by the Cincinnati Business Courier about the recent ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky regarding the Ark Encounter theme park receiving tax credits for its construction. The court ruled in favor of Answers in Genesis, the developer of Ark Encounter, stating that "denying the group’s participation in the program, including its religious beliefs, are a violation of the First Amendment." The court ordered the state to move forward in processing the application for the tax rebate incentives that would become available once the park opens.

Craig is partner-in-charge of the firm’s Kentucky office. He represents clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts and before government agencies throughout Kentucky and Ohio. Craig's legal experience encompasses a wide variety of areas, including antitrust, employment, construction, health care, public law and other commercial matters.
