Johnson Selected as Indianapolis Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year

Taft is pleased to announce that B. Ronan Johnson has been selected as the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year. Johnson currently serves as chair of the Young Lawyers Division and founded the inaugural Intro to Indy series. He will be recognized at the IndyBar Foundation Recognition Luncheon on Nov. 13.

Johnson is a member of the firm's Business and Finance group. His practice primarily focuses on providing general corporate advice to local companies and representing private equity funds, large multi-national corporations, family-held businesses and individuals in complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations.

Johnson is currently a participant in the IndyBar Bar Leader Series (Class XII) and the 2014 Class of IU Health Methodist Hospital’s Inspiring Leaders. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in 2002. Johnson earned his Juris Doctorate from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2009, where he served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law & Policy.
