Taft partner Tim Eaton has been named to the Civil Appellate Law and ADR Law: Commercial Neutrals Top 10 lists in Leading Lawyers Magazine – Business Edition for 2014. Out of more than 94,000 lawyers licensed to practice law in Illinois, Eaton was the second most often recommended lawyer in the state in Civil Appellate Law and the sixth most often recommended lawyer in the state in ADR Law: Commercial Neutrals.

The distinction of being a Leading Lawyer has been earned by fewer than five percent of all lawyers licensed to practice law in Illinois. It is the result of an annual state-wide survey and ongoing meetings, discussions and research of their peers in Illinois, followed by a sophisticated review and vetting process by the appropriate members of the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board in Illinois. A lawyer cannot buy the distinction of being a Leading Lawyer – it can only be earned.
