Leader Named to 2015 ICSC OKIMP Planning Committee

Taft partner Edward J. Leader has been named to the planning committee for the 2015 ICSC Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania (“OKIMP”) Retail Development & Law Symposium.

The symposium is a regional law conference aimed at legal professionals in the retail industry. It addresses relevant legal issues, primarily surrounding the real estate development and operation associated with retail sites. It is also a source of continuing legal education credits for lawyers licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The conference will be held May 17-20, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Leader is a member of Taft's Real Estate group and is also involved in Taft's Environmental, Construction and Energy and Regulated Industries groups. He counsels clients in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, leasing, construction and exchanging of commercial, industrial and multi-family real estate. He also assists clients involved in the fracking industry.
