Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is proud to announce that Allen Norris has joined the firm as a partner in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice in its Dayton office. Norris comes to Taft after 19 years with Thompson Hine in Dayton.

Mullins, Partner-in-Charge of Taft’s Dayton office. “He brings a deep knowledge in this area of law that will benefit our clients and further expand the legal services we offer.” Norris has experience in all aspects of qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation, health and fringe benefit programs, stock options and employee stock ownership plans.
With Norris’ addition, Taft now has 32 attorneys in its Dayton office.
Norris said that Taft offers services in virtually every area of law, which is an important component in a successful employee benefits practice. “Taft has a full complement of attorneys in Labor & Employment, Corporate Law and Tax – and just as important, the Taft firm has a great reputation for its quality legal work. I’m excited to be a member of the team.”
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Miami University. He earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his Master of Laws degree from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Norris has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America. He currently serves on the Employee Benefits Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association and is a member of the Federal, Ohio State, Virginia and D.C. Bar Associations.
In addition, Mr. Norris has been an instructor at Sinclair Community College, a lecturer at both the University of Maryland and the Midwest Trust Schools and was an adjunct professor at the Capital University College of Law.
