On January 1, 2009, the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 took effect. By expanding the definition of "disability," employees who were not disabled previously under the ADA may now be disabled and eligible for a reasonable accommodation.
Join us for a discussion of the ADAAA and its effect on employer practices, policies and procedures. The seminar will include a discussion of:
o the significant changes made by the ADAAA to the definition of major life activities;
o the pitfalls to watch for under the ADA and the ADAAA; and
o the practical application of the ADAAA to employer policies and procedures.
