Title III of the Americans With Disabilities Act prohibits places of public accommodation from discriminating against individuals on the basis of disability.  Individuals may not be excluded, denied services or treated differently because of a disability.  This article explores the risks restaurants, stores and other places of public accommodation face if they do not have effective policies in place and effective training for employees to assist individuals with disabilities.
