Chad Hansen recently published an article in the Dayton Bar Association's Bar Briefs newsletter examining the unlikely popularity of a Sixth Circuit decision in favor of the IRS. The outcome of Littriello v. United States confirmed the validity of the Internal Revenue Service's "check the box" approach to classifying businesses for tax purposes.
