Mark R. Jacobs has been re-appointed co-chair of the Private Equity Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Litigation Section's Commercial & Business Litigation Committee. His appointment runs for the remaining quarter of 2011 through September 2012. Mr. Jacobs is one of four co-chairs. The other attorney co-chairs are Hunter Barrow, Thompson & Knight LLP; Brett D. Jaffe, Cohen & Gresser LLP; and Jeffrey S. Torosian, Greenberg Traurig.
As a subcommittee co-chair, Mr. Jacobs will be responsible to recommend CLE program ideas, submit at least two case notes, and collect articles for the CBL Newsletter. He will also attend one or both of the association’s annual conferences where he and the co-chair team will hold business and networking meetings.
As a partner in the Litigation Group at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, Mr. Jacobs’ practice is primarily devoted to commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including appellate litigation.
