CINCINNATI, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP announced today that Bradley C. Arnett has joined the firm’s Business & Finance Practice Group as a partner in its Cincinnati office. His practice focuses on public finance, acting as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel and borrowers’ counsel in various types of tax-exempt financing transactions. Arnett also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing and advising clients in the preparation and filing of registration statements under the Securities Act of 1933, in their reporting and compliance obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and in connection with raising capital through public and private offerings. In addition, he has extensive experience representing borrowers in other financing transactions, including revolving credit and term loan facilities, secured and unsecured lines of credit, project financings and asset securitizations.
Arnett comes to Taft after three years with Frost Brown Todd in Cincinnati. Prior to entering private practice, Brad held various leadership positions in legal, finance, business development and strategy at Duke Energy Corporation (including one of its predecessor companies, Cinergy Corp.). He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Arnett is on the advisory board of the Duke Energy Children's Museum and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
