David Allen, Taft Attorney, Named Co-Chair to 2009 Real Estate Law Institute Committee of Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association

Cleveland, OH – David V. Allen, a partner in the Cleveland office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, was recently named co-chair for the 2009 Real Estate Law Institute Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA). The Institute hosts a two-day continuing legal education seminar on a broad range of real estate topics. Next year’s Institute is scheduled for November 12 and 13, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cleveland. The CMBA is a private, non-profit organization that provides a wide variety of membership services and operates as a center for legal professionalism in the region.
Allen practices mainly in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, financing, as well as residential low income housing tax credit projects and various other related matters and intellectual property. He also teaches both business law and ethics at Walsh University's School for Professional Studies. Allen was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the British-American Chamber of Commerce, Great Lakes Region Chapter.
