Taft Attorney Felson Elected to Board of Trustees of the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati

Cincinnati, OH, October 13, 2008 – Cynthia C. Felson, a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.
Felson had contacted the Kidney Foundation about volunteering opportunities, after recovering from a 2007 kidney transplant. The Foundation works to provide the Greater Cincinnati community with good health and renal information through public educational efforts within the community. The Foundation also provides financial assistance to renal and transplant patients, as well as grants for renal research.
Felson, a partner in the Workers' Compensation Practice of the Litigation Department, focuses on representation of state fund and self-insured employers in workers' compensation claims at both administrative hearings and court appeals. Besides the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, she also served as Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Workers' Compensation Committee. Felson also chairs the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG).
