David Evans Joins Taft Business Consulting

Cincinnati, OH – David Evans has joined as a Director of Taft Business Consulting LLC, an ancillary business of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He will be focused on providing strategic consulting services to middle market clients, both in support of existing clients and potential new clients for Taft Business Consulting and its affiliates.
Evans graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering and a minor in International Relations. He also received a Master in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. In 1986 Evans joined the General Electric Company and rose through the organization’s executive ranks.
During his tenure at the General Electric Company, Evans held several positions in Engineering and Manufacturing providing technical leadership in design, flight test programs, production operations and supply chain management. In addition to his technical experience, Evans had several assignments in international sales/marketing and program management and as a General Manager with Profit and Loss responsibility. When he was with the GE Capital Corporation he worked in the high technology venture capital group in a strategic planning capacity in the area of digital commerce. At the Boston Consulting Group he was involved in the retail industry.
Evans has received several management awards and national recognition through the National YMCA Black Achievers in Industry Award. He is an active pilot and is air show-qualified, as well as multi-engine commercial/instrument-rated.
