« Back James Parsons to Participate In Leadership Kentucky Class

Covington, KY – James E. Parsons, of counsel to the Northern Kentucky office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been accepted to participate in the next Leadership Kentucky Class, a state-wide leadership program.  Participants are selected on their proven and potential leadership abilities, civic activity, concern for community, volunteer leadership and potential to help build a greater Kentucky.  

Parsons, a resident of Newport, is a member of the firm’s Public Law and Public Finance Practice Groups, as well as a registered lobbyist with the firm’s affiliate, Focused Capital Solutions.  He previously served as Administrator and Deputy Judge Executive of Boone County, and as Assistant City Solicitor, City Solicitor and City Manager for the City of Newport, where he was involved in developments such as Newport on the Levee and the Newport Aquarium.

Parsons received his J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law of Northern Kentucky University, where he also obtained his B.A. and graduated cum laude.  Parsons previously served as an adjunct instructor in the Public Administration Department at NKU, teaching Executive Management and Urban Administration.  Parson serves on the Executive Committee for the Brighton Center,  serves as board chairman for the Newport Housing Development Corporation, and serves as a board member for OKI.
