« Back James Parsons Appointed To Kentucky School Facilities Construction Commission

Cincinnati, OH – James E. Parsons, of counsel in the Northern Kentucky office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been appointed by Governor Fletcher to serve on the Kentucky School Facilities Construction Commission.

Parsons, a resident of Newport, received his J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law of Northern Kentucky University, where he currently serves as an adjunct instructor in the Public Administration Department, teaching Executive Management and Urban Administration. Parsons is board chairman for the Newport Housing Development Corporation and serves as a board member for OKI, Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force, Boone County Extension District and Northern Kentucky Independent Health District. For the past seven years, he has also served as the Boone County Administrator.

His memberships include the Kentucky Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association and Northern Kentucky City-County Management Association. He was the Assistant Law Director, Law Director and City Manager for the City of Newport.
