Columbus, OH – John P. Curp, a partner in the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, has been appointed secretary of the Judicial Recruitment and Screening Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party.

Curp, a resident of Grandview Heights, graduated from Miami University with Honors and received his undergraduate degree in Business Finance. He received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.

Curp has a multidisciplinary business practice with an emphasis on real property, commercial transactions, land use, enterprise zone, tax issues and creditors rights. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, and as a member of the Columbus Bar Association, serves on the Health Care Law Committee and Government Agencies Committee.
